Andrea Brennan, 68, of Georgetown, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on November 22, 2019. She went peacefully in the night. She was born in Salem to the late Jennie and Rene Marmen, where she was raised and educated. Later she moved to Georgetown where she became a longtime resident. She met and married George Brennan 22 years ago. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Amy Romano of N.H., Eric Spence of FL., and Ray Spence of Georgetown MA. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Goodwin and her brother, Michael Marmen. Andrea's surviving siblings include her brothers Paul and Richard Marmen, and her sisters Renee Armstrong, Joanne Rand and Alison Faust. Andrea had 7 grandchildren, Michael, Cameron, Dillon, Damien, Shane and Benjamin,and her beloved Jenna along with several nieces and nephews.
An extremely talented person, Andrea drew and painted many beautiful pictures, quilting talents and created countless crafts for her business PurpleCactus Country Crafts, jewelry and woodworking. She was especially proud of her gardens that were imaginative and fun, her talent was represented in the variety of work with gourds due to her tireless work and her natural artistic ability. Many years ago Andrea came to know Jehovah God. She believed in the resurrection hope and told others of His Kingdom. She was loved and will be missed by many.
