Audrey A. (Wilson) Tibbetts

Audrey A. Wilson Tibbetts, age 91,Passed away at Seacoast Nursing Center in Gloucester MA, October 21st 2018.Audrey was born and raised in Medford MA by her parents,  Byron Wilson and Mabel G. Todd Wilson. She had a sister, Phillis Wilson Tibbetts who preceded her passing. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles G. Tibbetts, Jr., her son, Keith Tibbetts, daughter in law, Tukta Tibbetts of Windsor MA , daughter, Gail Halloran and son in law Joseph Halloran of Manchester by the Sea. She had four grandchildren, Justin Daigle of Peabody MA, Sean Halloran of Somerville, MA, Alice Tibbetts of Windsor, MA, and Melissa Sirikan of Windsor MA. Audrey and Charles moved to Georgetown in 1956 and lived there for 53 years until moving to her daughter's home in Manchester by the Sea in 2009. Audrey was a secretary for Wood Arts in the Boston area and later a  teacher's aide and secretary at Perley Elementary School in Georgetown. Audrey really enjoyed Perley School, the children and the staff. She worked there for 22 years until her retirement in 1988. Audrey was a past member of the Rebekah in Georgetown and past Girl Scout Leader. She was fond of her summer weekends in Wolfeboro NH with family. Later she liked her weekly stops at the Agawam diner in Rowley with Charlie. Audrey enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and her grandchildren.
