Barbara J. Schaller, of Boxford, died on July 11, 2019 at The Masconomet Healthcare in Topsfield after a short illness, she was 91. She was born Barbara Jean Gove in Lynn and attended Lynn English High School. She received her Bachelors degree from Boston University and worked at the Lynn Public Library. While at the library she earned her Masters Degree in Library Science from Simmons College. She was subsequently appointed Director of the library, a post she held until her retirement in 1990. After her retirement from Lynn she volunteered as head of trustees of the Boxford Town Library.
