Janice M. (Bulger) Sahovey

Janice M. (Bulger) Sahovey, 83 of Georgetown and formerly of Peabody, passed away peacefully after a long illness with the love of her family by her side on October 2, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Janice was born in Peabody to the late Walter and Mary (Matusik) Bulger. Janice worked  at both Western Electric in North Andover and Chesterton in Groveland for many years until her retirement. During her spare time, Janice enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun and loved to play BINGO as well as knitting, however her greatest passion was the love of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom affectionately referred to her as "Pool Nana".

Janice was the beloved wife of the late William J. Sahovey and is survived by their children, Paul Sahovey of Whitefield, NH, William Sahovey of Danvers, Scott Sahovey of Haverhill, Cindy Roy of Ipswich, Pamela Haley and her husband William of Groveland and Christine LaFontaine and her husband Donald of Londonderry, NH, her grandchildren, Melissa, Jason, Joseph, Justin, Jenilee, Kiley, Zachary, Alex, Sydney and Scott, her great-grandchildren, Aiden, Avery, Kane, Sage, Remi, Livia and Ella, her sisters, Mary Mallard of Peabody and Linda Mallard and her husband John of Naples, FL as well as her sister-in-law, Patricia Bulger of Peabody and her many nieces and nephews. Janice was predeceased by her siblings, Phyllis Parker, Walter, Ronald, John and Peter Bulger.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 12th at 10:30 AM to be celebrated at St. Mary's Parish, 94 Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will be private at the Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Bradford. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 pm at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
