Myron (Mike) Edwards Ricker Jr., resident of Rowley, MA, passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2018 at the age of 68. Mike was a devoted husband to Mary Ellen (Mulligan) Ricker for nearly 43 years. Mike was born on November 1st, 1949 in Haverhill, MA to the late M. Rita (Kelly) Ricker and Myron (Sam) Edwards Ricker Sr. of Georgetown, MA. He was one of ten children. He was raised in Georgetown and educated in the Georgetown school system. After school he went to work for the family business, R&W Trucking. Along with his two brothers, Mike went on to become co-owner of Sam’s Transportation in Georgetown. Mike was a proud, caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his three children; Shannon M. Tudal, her husband Steven R. Tudal Jr., Myron (Mikey) E. Ricker, his wife Amy K. Ricker, Kalynn M. Rooney, and her husband Michael E. Rooney. His three grandchildren Noah and Riley Tudal and Chase Rooney. He is survived by his six sisters; Joan Wright, Betty Anne Langlais, Phylis Ricker, Alice Sarandos, her husband George, Pamela Camillieri, Terri MacNeil and her husband Douglas, and his two brothers; Thomas Ricker and his wife Mary and William Ricker. Sister-in-law Kathy (Foster) Ricker. Preceded in death by his sister Jean Roy, brother-in-laws, Robert Wright, Gerard Roy, Harvey Langlais, and Joseph Camillieri. He is the son-in-law to the late Mary and Thomas Mulligan and is survived by his in laws; Patricia and Joseph Morrison, Jeanne Mulligan, Susan and Michael Sargent, and Thomas and Deborah Mulligan, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Mike's Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 25th at 11AM in St. Mary's Church, Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Visiting with the family will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
