Norma Lawson Obituary

Norma Jean (Peatman) Lawson, 75, of Georgetown, MA and formerly of Andover, MA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. Norma Jean was born in Lawrence to the late Arthur and Dorothy A.(Lewis) Peatman and sister of the late Glenn A. Peatman. She was an Elementary School Teacher at the Central School in Georgetown and the office manager for the former Elliott Bros. Fuel also in Georgetown. Norma Jean also worked for Hallmark and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church Ladies Guild. During her spare time, Norma Jean loved to travel and spend time in her garden with her flowers, however, her greatest passion was socializing and entertaining and reading a good book on her sun porch.

Norma Jean was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Lawson and is survived by her sons, W. Richard Lawson and his wife Lisa A. Viera Lawson of Groveland and Ronald A. Lawson and his wife Kimberly O'Brien Lawson of Haverhill, grandchildren Richard James "RJ" Lawson, BreAnne V. Lawson Noyes and husband Michael E. Noyes and Chloe M. Lawson along with many dear friends and family. 

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, March 25th, from 3 to 7pm at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Family and friends are also invited toFuneral Service on Monday, March 26th at 11am at the First Congregational Church of Georgetown,7 Andover Street, Georgetown.
