Rosaleen M. (Enos) Zibell, 89, a lifelong resident of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2019 at Anna Jaques Hospital with her family by her side. Rosaleen was born in Georgetown on May 4, 1930 to the late Anthony and Mary (Mello) Enos. She was raised and educated in Georgetown where she graduated from Perley High School, Class of 1948. After High School Rosaleen attended Wilfred Academy for cosmetology.
Rosaleen enjoyed being a hair dresser and worked for Lois Ricker until meeting her husband. She also worked for Low’s Poultry Farm and Restaurant also the Georgetown School cafeteria . She enjoyed cake decorating, knitting and embroidery. She also enjoyed playing games and watching game shows on television Rosaleen belonged to the Grange and square danced with the Barn Stormers. Rosaleen enjoyed going with her husband in a motor home to go camping and belonged to The Good Sam Club with the New Hampshire Division The Blazers.She most enjoyed taking care of people. Rosaleen babysat the neighbors children that called her Grandma Rosie.
Rosaleen is survived by her beloved husband, John L. Zibell, Sr. of Georgetown and their children, Kathy Potter of Georgetown and John L. Zibell, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Huntsville, AL. A dear family friend Patti Lambright, her “ adopted grandchildren”, Patrick, Katie, Connolly, Austin, Ashley and Alexandra Lambright as well as several nieces and nephews. Rosaleen was predeceased by her sister, Mary Lambert.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 22nd at 11 O'clock in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 8pm.
