William Kallman Obituary

William "Bud" Kallman, Jr., 91, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019 in the comfort and care of his home. Bud was born in Cape May, NJ on June 17, 1927 to the late William, Sr. and Helen (Droney ) Kallman. As a youngster, Bud served his country proudly with the U.S. Navy aboard The Bon Homme Richard during WW II. Bud then came home to become a family man, his most important "job". Bud Kallman was a longtime employee at the G.E. in Lynn where he worked as a machinist and was both, honest and honorable. He was a true neighbor and always kept his word, never shirking a duty. Bud never said "NO" and was always willing and available to lend a helping hand to someone in need, however his greatest passion was his love of his family,  as a husband, father and grandfather. We will truly miss you.

Bud was the loving husband of the late  Mary T. (Burns) Kallman and is survived by their children, Judy Marshall, Carol Miller and Christopher Kallman and his wife Cecile, his grandchildren, H. David Miller, Brianna Burke, Lindsay Soto and her husband Tomas and Amanda Maninos as well as his great-grandchildren, Zachary Webb, Jason Cranshaw, Ariana and Jordan Soto. Bud was predeceased by his son, William T. "Ted" Kallman, his sister, Lois Phipps and his special friend, Sandra Larsen.

At the request of the family, all of Bud's services were private. For those who wish to share a memory of Bud with his family, please visit www.cgfuneralhomegeorgetown.com
