Anna Maria (Arduino) Russo – Georgetown, MA

Anna Maria (Arduino) Russo age 89 of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA on Tuesday, October 18, 2022.  She was born on October 12, 1933 in Capestrano, Italy. Anna was a great cook who enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods Casino.  She was also a Foster Mother for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lawrence Russo, her daughter, Therese Merrill and husband, Alan, her son, John Russo and wife, Michelle, her brother, Ennio Arduino and his wife, Pia (who was like a sister to Anna), her grandchildren, Michael, Cody and Amy Merrill, Jeremy Plouff and Danielle and Johnny Russo.  Nine great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, God children, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law also survive her.  Anna was predeceased by her parents, Giovanni and Giovanna (Trolla) Arduino as well as her brother, Tony Arduino and her daughter, Tara Russo.

Calling hours are Sunday, October 23, 2022 from 4-8 PM at Conte-Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown, MA 01833.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 24, 2022 at 11 AM at St. Mary Parish, 94 Andover Street, Georgetown, MA 01833.  Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Harmony Cemetery in Georgetown, MA.  Please visit www.cgfuneralhomegeorgetown.com for directions or to sign the online guest book.
