Antoinette Graffam Obituary

Antoinette "Nettie" Graffam, age 92 of West Enfield, ME passed peacefully Sunday afternoon, November 9. 2025 at home. Born March 19, 1933, in Franklin, MA to the late Giacomino and Isabella Mucciarone.

 

Antoinette was preceded in death by her late husband. Richard Graffam and her sister and brother-in-law, Ermenagilda and Robert Graffam of Melrose, MA.

 

Antoinette grew up in Franklin, MA studying business administration. She met her husband Richard after his return from serving in the Korean War. Richard was in the United States Air Force and they were stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii for 10 years. While there, Antionette volunteered with the American Red Cross, taking care of the Vietnam Veterans at Trippler Army Navy Hospital. They moved back to Massachusetts, residing in Malden where they built a life with their two sons. She worked as a data controller at IRS until retirement. Eventually moving their life to Georgetown, MA to be close to her grandchildren.

 

Antoinette is survived by her two sons and two daughter-in-law, Lawrence and Roberta Graffam of West Enfield, ME and James and Louann Graffam of Georgetown, MA, Her 5 grandchildren Andrea Graffam and partner John Wiberg III of Saugus, Nicholas and wife, Jessica Graffam of Bradford, Bianca and husband, Joseph DelGrosso III of Haverhill, Caleb and Colleen Graffam of West Enfield, ME and her 8 great-grandchildren, Noelani, Joseph IV, Vincent, Penelope, Amelia, Dominic, Anthony and Johnny IV.

 

Loved ones and friends are invited to celebrate her life. Visitation service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home. Located at 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown, MA. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at 10:30am at Saint Mary's Church, 94 Andover Street in Georgetown, MA. Interment will be private.
