Barbara L. (Martin) Brewer

Barbara L. (Martin) Brewer, 88 of Rowley and formerly of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2021 at the home of her daughter. Barbara was born and raised in Newburyport by her parents, Burton E. and Mary (Kumis) Martin. Barbara enjoyed braiding rugs, playing Keno and especially vacationing on Sebago Lake. She wrote and illustrated two children's books which hopefully will be published by her daughter, Palma.
 
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late, Wallace Brewer, Jr. and is survived by her daughter, Palma L. Monahan and her husband Kevin of Rowley, Her grandsons, Richard "Craig" Cole, Jr. and his wife Melanie of Hampton, NH and Justin Michael Cole and his wife Amy of Salisbury, MA, her great-grandchildren, Maya, Phoebe, Rowan and Calan and her sister, Joyce Marlowe of Newbury as well as several nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her son, Charles "Chuckie" Ulysses Foley, IV, her sister, Shirley Ziminski and her former husband, Charles Ulysses Foley, III.
