Barbara Ann Davis passed away peacefully on January 8, 2023, in Newburyport, Ma after a period of failing health. Barbara was born in Newburyport on July 14, 1945, to the late Frank M. Janvrin and Viola (Rappazzo) Woods. Barbara and her late husband Everett raised their family on Moody St. in Byfield where Barb worked in the family business (Parker River MFP). Barb was always up for a trip to Vegas with longtime friend Dot Saracy, a trip to Florida with best friends Edna and Ron Pearson or a trip to Dunks with Gina for her iced coffee and a “cow flap”.
Along with her husband and parents, Barbara was predeceased by her son, William Janvrin, stepsons, Everett Jr and Scott Davis, stepdaughter, Ann Gatcomb, stepfather, Ray Woods and sister, Deborah Woods. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Janvrin and his fiancé Jennifer Brown, with whom she resided, her son, Mark Davis and his wife Amy, sisters, Wilhelmina Drew and Donna McKeen, Brother, David DiBenedetto, her granddaughter, Jessica Janvrin, grandson, Joshua Janvrin, several step-grandchildren, nieces & nephews along with special friend Brian “Lester Light Bulb” Ames.
Family and friends are kindly invited to her visitation on Friday, January 13th from 4-7 pm at the Conte - Giamberadino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 14th @ the Byfield Fire Department, 44 Central St from 12-3 pm. Graveside services will be held in the springtime at South Byfield Cemetery, Georgetown.
