Barry R. Lay

Barry Richard Lay, 69, of Bradford Ma, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2022. He was born August 17, 1952 in Haverhill, MA. to Richard and Shirley (Baldwin) Lay. He was raised in Groveland and attended the Pentucket Regional High School.
Barry was very proud to work at the Groveland Congregational Church and was also a lifetime member. All who knew him got to enjoy his incredible cooking and baking skills. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his Sons, Jamie Lay and his wife Gabriella of Virginia and Jeffrey Lay and his wife Marissa of Virginia. He was a grandpa to 4 grandchildren. Barry also leaves his brothers, Brian G. Lay and his wife Sarah Foss of Pennsylvania, Robert B. Lay and his wife Linda of Groveland Ma, Jeffrey D. Lay of California and his sister, Barbara Lay Hanson of Raymond NH as well as several nieces, nephew's and cousin's. He was also survived by his lifelong friend, Becky Williams. He was preceded in death by his father Richard G Lay, mother Shirley and brother Todd Lay.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Barry's Service at Groveland Congregational Church, 4 King Street, Groveland, Ma on Friday afternoon, June 24th at 2pm.
