Britnee Rachel McBrierty

Britnee Rachel McBrierty, 34, formerly of Merrimac, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Britnee was born in Newburyport on October 18, 1988, to the late Laurie Meisner and the late Christopher McBrierty. Britnee was funny, vibrant and mischievous. Her charismatic laugh and notorious snort will live forever in our memories. Britnee battled addiction for more than a decade and created a network of support in her recovery community. Even in her worst moments, she never stopped trying to be the very best version of herself.

She leaves behind a legacy of friendship, genuine self-expression, and depth of love. She will be deeply missed by the family she was born into, and the family she created. Britnee was the sister of Brandilee Kelly and her husband Kevin of Bradford and Sheri McGlew of Methuen. She was the aunt of Shyla, Shawn, Caydin, Aaran, Lexy, Bryce and Mia.

Family and friends are kindly invited to her visitation on Sunday, April 16 th from 2 to 5pm in the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
