Carol M. (Grace) Newell

Carol M. (Grace) Newell, 89, of North Andover and formerly of Boxford, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024, at The Meadows in North Andover surrounded by the love of her family. Carol was born in Lawrence, MA to the late John and Ann (Boucher) Grace. She was the beloved wife of the late, Fred D. Newell, Jr. Carol was a long -time employee of the Andover Companies and loved her times spent at her lake house with her husband and family.

Carol is survived by her children, Fred Newell and his wife Susan of Hernando, FL, Lori Cudmore and her husband Gary of Fort Johnson, NY and Patty Newell and her wife Gladie Austin of Reading, MA, her grandchildren, Joseph Newell, Bryan Cudmore, Brendan Cudmore and Kendra Boyd as well as her 8 great-grandchildren. Carol is also survived by her sister Joan Mitchell of North Andover and her dear friend, Betty Marggraf of Methuen. Carol was predeceased by her son, Steven Newell and her first husband, Sumner Peterson, Jr.
