Charles W ("Chuck") Naylor

Charles Windsor Naylor, known as Chuck, passed away suddenly on May 1, 2023. Born in Lawrence, MA. on September 10, 1946, Chuck grew up in N. Andover, Florida, and Haverhill. He was the second son of Charles Edward of Lawrence, and Rosella V. (Fisher) of N. Andover. He was predeceased by his older brother, Edward Corie Naylor of Pennsylvania. Chuck was a graduate of Haverhill High School and joined the Navy where he was trained as a Corpsman. After leaving the Navy, Chuck explored several jobs in quality control, and ended his working life as custodian for the Georgetown, MA School Department.

Soon after Chuck met and married his wife, Judith Tozier Naylor, they moved to Georgetown where they brought a son, Robert Charles Naylor into their family. They have lived here just shy of 50 years. In addition to his wife and son, Rob, Chuck is survived by his sister-in-law, Chris and her husband Donald Fritzsche of Florida. Chuck is also survived by his brother, David Naylor Sr. and his wife Joyce of Haverhill. Their Naylor clan includes their three sons, David Jr. (wife Daovone), Eric, and Phillip (wife Jenna). Their children include Ponsavhn, Bo, Gabrielle, Jacob, Madison, Abigail, Anthony, Alyssa, Drew, Tristin, Jonah, Reese. Adding five great grandchildren to the mix makes for some raucous gatherings around the table at the annual Naylor Thanksgiving dinner. Our turkey chef will be missed.

In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, visitation will be held on Friday May 12th from 4 to 6 pm at the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
