Christine West

Christine West, 63, of Georgetown, MA lost her battle with cancer on February 23, 2022. She passed peacefully surrounded by family on a sunny winter day. Christine was born on April 2, 1958 to John West and Evelyn Ligor. She loved her hometown of Boxford, MA and had pride in her country. Christine loved reading, animals, and playing the piano. She enjoyed New England beaches and collected fond memories on Cape Cod and in Ogunquit, Maine. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother.

Christine was predeceased by both of her loving parents. She is survived by her daughters, Andrea West and Alexandra West, her former spouse, Paul Bologna, her sister, Lisa Peters and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Peters, brothers, John West and Jason West and her nephews, Weston Peters, Nicholas Peters and James West. Her pet cat Mr. Mittens has been happily adopted by her daughters.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday afternoon, March 5th at 1 o'clock in the Second Congregational Church of Boxford, 173 Washington Street, Boxford. Interment will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Boxford. For those who wish, Christine may be remembered in lieu of flowers, through donations to MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
