Our family is heartbroken to announce the death of our son, Chris, who passed away last Sunday, December 15, 2019. As you may know, Chris has been battling a kidney condition since he was 8 years old. Throughout all of his adolescence and much of his adult life, he bravely endured countless trips to the hospital and fought tirelessly to have and live a normal life. We are devastated by the loss and ask that you pray for us to have strength as we face this insurmountable grief.
Christopher Chou, 34, of Georgetown and formerly of Malden, was born in Boston, MA on November 23, 1985. Chris is survived by his loving parents, Heang and Tew Chou and his sister, Maylinda Chou. Chris grew up in Malden, graduating from Malden High School in 2004. He then attended St. John’s University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in finance.
Chris suffered from a chronic kidney disease from the age of eight. Despite this, he tried to live his life filled with joy and happiness, surrounded by friends and family. In his free time, Chris enjoyed watching sporting events, fishing, traveling, and learning how to cook with his mother. He will be remembered for his kind heart and his uncontrollable laughter.
We hope you’ll join us to celebrate his life at a private memorial service at Conte-Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 10:00 AM. After the service, we’ll be opening our home to all friends and family to gather and share fond memories of Chris.
