Craig Harrington Obituary

Craig A. Harrington, 51, of Georgetown, MA passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Craig was born in Beverly to Robert F. and Paula R. (Zwicker) Harrington and is survived by his father, Robert F. and his stepmother, Anne Harrington of Georgetown and his mother Paula Eaton of Danvers.

Craig attended Georgetown High School and graduated with his class in 1993. He volunteered for Erie-4 Fire Station in Georgetown during his younger years and became a long-haul truck driver. He most recently worked for Pearson in Byfield. 

During his spare time, Craig was very passionate about fishing and loved to go hunting, but all he ever dreamed about was catching that tuna!!

A kind and loving son and father, who loved his family, especially his son William whom he loved more than life and relished in teaching him how to fish. They spent hours together during their trips.

 

Besides his parents, Craig is survived by his son, William of St. Augustine, FL, his sister, AnnMarie Harrington, his niece, Ashley and her partner Brendan, his nephews, Stevei Stilwell, Jr. and Robert Harrington, his aunt Susan Harrington as well as his great-niece, Amelia and his longtime friends, Frank Manzione, Steve Vera, Brian King and Steve Stilwell, Sr.

Craig was predeceased by his brother, Michael F. Harrington.

At the request of the family, all services will be held privately. For those who wish, Craig may be remembered through donations to the Lily Jean Fund at Cape Ann Savings Bank of Gloucester or The Gloucester Fishing Community Preservation Fund.
