Cynthia A. (Hunter) Tardif, 84, of North Andover and formerly of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2022 at Brightview of North Andover. Cynthia was born in Methuen to Charles Hunter and Katherine Fay Hunter on March 1, 1938. She had a 30 year career at the I.R.S. with her last position as a fraud investigator. Cynthia was active in the Georgetown community where she devotedly volunteered at the polls each election season, and was a longtime member of the Georgetown Garden Club.
In her spare time, she was an avid bird watcher, loved to go antiquing, was a member of the I.R.S bowling team and a ferocious reader. However, her greatest passion was being in the company of her beloved family, especially her two grandchildren.
Cynthia was the loving wife of the late, Reginald “Reg” Tardif and is survived by their sons, Bryan Tardif and his wife Carla of Essex and David Tardif and his wife Keri of San Diego, CA, and her grandchildren, Jessie and Drew. She was the sister of the late Charlie Hunter.
Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday morning, April 22nd at 11 o’clock at St. Mary’s Parish, Georgetown. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7pm in the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
