David H. Daniels, 78, of Boxford passed away peacefully on July 5, 2022, at Lahey Medical Center in Peabody after a brief illness. David was born August 28, 1943, to the late Elizabeth (Withers) Daniels and William J. Daniels. Dave was raised in Lynn, where he graduated from Lynn
Classical High School, class of 1961 before serving in the United States Air Force. After being honorably discharged; he went on to work for the Federal Government for 37 years, accomplishing a distinguished career which included many awards and accolades. David was an avid collector. He had a passion for aviation and WWII, enjoyed photography in his earlier years, cars & racing and reading all kinds of books as well as submitting letters to various magazines. He was also a proud member of the Danvers Fish & Game Club for over 50 years where he forged long, lasting friendships. He served as past president, taught Junior Division, and thoroughly enjoyed competitive target shooting.
David is survived by his wife, Patricia (Quinn) Daniels with whom he was married for 54 years, as well as his children, Robert Daniels and his wife Candace, Kathleen Mullen and her husband Jack and Colleen Soares and her husband Michael, as well as 6 grandchildren. David is predeceased by his son Michael.
His family and friends are cordially invited to a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 1 o’clock in the afternoon at the Danvers Fish & Game Club in Middleton, MA.
