Dianne P. (Rogers) Finnigan

Dianne P. Finnigan of Byfield, passed away Monday morning at Port Rehab in Newburyport after a long illness. Dianne was born on December 5, 1939, in Newburyport, MA. to the late Frank Rogers and Helen Pearson. Dianne was the wife of the late Ellsworth Rogers and late Gerald Finnigan. In Dianne's early years, she always had horses and loved to ride. She loved to garden around her apartment. Dianne also was a member of the Georgetown Fire Ladies Auxillary and was once a leader of the Georgetown Police domestic abuse program. She also enjoyed reading, crosswords, knitting & crocheting as well as movies. She loved listening to old country music.

She worked many years for Chase Shamutt & later Gould's. Dianne LOVED her home at Oak RIDGE. Dianne loved her family immensely and her friends. She touched many lives in her own special way and will be sorely missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Gosselin of Haverhill, her son, Thomas Rogers of Byfield, her 6 grandchildren, Ellsworth Rogers and his wife Dorris of Peabody, Camelia Rogers of Manchester, N.H., John Lewis of Plaistow N.H., Cortney and Shauna Gosselin, both of Haverhill and Samantha. She also leaves her 2 great granddaughters who she adored, Delilah Rogers of Peabody and Stormi Grace Rogers of Manchester N.H. and her sister, Bernadette and husband Tracy Maliszewski of Newbury. She was predeceased by her sister, Alice and her brothers Tony and Frank.

At Dianne's request, there will be a graveside service at the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Bachelor Street, West Newbury for friends and family. The time and date will be announced soon on the funeral home website.
