Donna L. (Atwood) Mariano

Donna Mariano (Atwood), 61, of Georgetown, passed away Saturday November 7th, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. Born in Wenham, she grew up in a close caring circle that included siblings, parents, grandparents, many aunts, uncles and dozens of friends that became family. She spent her days by her parents’ pool and her happy place was Ogunquit, Maine whether it was rain or shine! 
When Donna married Jim they first lived in Rowley, MA with their firstborn, Angela, before they moved to Georgetown and had their youngest child, Toni. She worked at Aero Manufacturing, Georgetown Savings Bank and Institution for Savings Bank for many, many years. She is best remembered by her smile and kindness to all those she encountered. 
A loving wife to James Mariano and their dog Stache, survived by her daughters and their husbands, Angela and Jeremy Coates of Georgetown and their children Annabelle and Caden, and Toni and Eli Roy of Hampstead, NH. Her father, Raymond Atwood Jr. and siblings Raymond Atwood III and Lisa Atwood-Littlefield, nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and many, many friends. 
 
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown from 3pm - 7pm and wear red if able at the request of Donna. A Celebration of Life will be held June 2021 in Ogunquit, Maine. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her favorite place https://www.marginalwayfund.org/.
