Douglas Codair Obituary

Douglas Francis Codair, 57, of West Newbury, MA. passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport. Doug was born on January 27, 1963 in Danvers, MA. to Patricia A. (Gatchell) Codair and the late Roland C. Codair. Doug was the beloved husband of Kymberly I. (Fitton) Codair.  Doug graduated from Georgetown High School and then went on to join the Marine Corp and travelled the world. He started his profession within the lumber industry and made lifelong friends throughout the years.
Doug dedicated his entire life to building and raising his family and there was nothing in the world more important than his children and his wife. Anyone who met him knew that he was a proud father and husband. Doug loved to make people laugh and smile and was always the first one to make a joke. He enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends and was truly the life of the party. He will be missed more than words can express and he will forever be in our hearts.
Doug is survived by his wife Kymberly I. Codair of West Newbury and their children, Kenneth D. Codair, Andrew R. Codair, Madison L. Codair, Jacob B. Codair and Megan I. Codair, his siblings, Donna Watson and her husband Arthur of Raymond, NH, Darlene Sybert of Haverhill, Diane Russell of Manchester, NH, Denise Rice and her husband Scott of Plaistow, NH and Daniel Codair and his wife Wanda of Bradford. He was also the infamous “Uncle Dougie” to his many nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his sister, Debbie Sullivan.
