Evelyn May (Locke) Hills

Evelyn M. (Locke) Hills, age 98 of Georgetown, Ma died peacefully on Thursday, March 9th at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport, Ma surrounded with love. Evelyn was kind and thoughtful and will be missed by the many lives she touched.

Evelyn was born and raised in Georgetown, Ma where she met the love of her Life, Rodney K. Hills whom she married on May 12, 1943.

After raising their two girls, Donna & Diane, they moved to Hartland, Vermont. Evelyn started her career as a medical records clerk at Mary

Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Lebanon NH. There she made many lifelong friends and later retired.

Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Bertha and Charles Locke of Georgetown, Ma, siblings, Ruth Poole of Georgetown Ma, Raymond Locke of Billings, Montana and Margaret Morse of Saco, Maine. Her beloved Husband, Rodney K. Hills of 46 years and daughters, Diane (Hills) Suslovich of Haverhill, Ma and Donna (Hills) Stackles of Salem, NH.

Evelyn is survived by her brother, Charles Locke of Georgetown, Ma, son in law, Peter Suslovich of Haverhill, Ma, her devoted niece, Shirley Rossi and her husband Michael Rossi of Georgetown, Ma as well as many more loving nieces and nephews. She is the much-loved grandmother of Shannon Lamond and her husband William Lamond of Haverhill,Ma, Heather Braley and her husband Richard Braley and her great grandson Blake Braley of Atkinson, NH.
