Frank M. Searle III, 74 of Lebanon, ME formerly of Byfield, MA passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Frank grew up in Byfield the oldest son of Frank M. and Theresa V. (Rogers) Searle Jr. He attended local schools. He graduated from the New England Military School. Shortly after turning 18, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served 2 years active duty in Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, darts and playing 45’s and poker. He was always ready for a good time. He worked many years as a clam digger, served as groundskeeper at the South Byfield Cemetery and worked at the Village Restaurant.
He is survived by his sons, Jesse and Aaron and their mother Lisa Noyes. Surviving siblings, Shelia LaPlante, Tricia Belt, Jan Searle, Marna Swartz and Shaun Searle. He has 4 granddaughters, Emma, Amelia, Tera and Chloe, several cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends. He was a man of many stories all which were true, and you considered yourself lucky to have him call you friend. He was one of a kind. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Paul Crocker for being such a good friend and caretaker and we will always be grateful for his help. Wee Spook.
Family and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, December 28th from 10am to 12 noon in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown followed by his Celebration of Life from 1pm to 4pm at the Rowley VFW, 19 Bradford Street, Rowley, MA 01969.
