Guy C. Zaccone of Georgetown, MA, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2026. He was born July 14, 1934, in Stoneham, MA. He was beloved son of the late Guy S. and Catherine (Mele) Zaccone.
Guy is survived by his beloved wife, Sheila, two sisters: June Zaccone, Prof. Emerita of NYC, Janet Gregorio, Stoneham, MA, one brother, John Zaccone of Plaistow, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Wakefield High School, Guy proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, with time spent in Japan. He later owned and operated Industrial Crafts in Revere, MA, until his retirement in 2006.
Guy had a lifelong love of music, especially big band and jazz, and played the saxophone and clarinet, including with the “Serenades” Orchestra. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends, particularly at his home on Sebago Lake, ME.
Visiting hours will be held at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant St., Georgetown, MA. on Thursday, May 7th from 9:30 to 11:30am, followed by his Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, Georgetown at 12 noon. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody, MA.
