Harold Rodgers, III Obituary


Harold Russell Rodgers III (Hank), 70 of Georgetown, MA passed away on December 30, 2020 at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA after a lengthy illness and complications of Covid-19. Hank was born on October 26, 1950 in Lynn, MA to the late Harold and Rosamond (Rawson) Rodgers. Hank is survived by his children, Jon Rodgers and his wife Tamara of Haverhill MA, Nichole Rodgers of Georgetown Ma and Matt Rodgers and his wife Heather of Newton NH. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Morgan, Julia, Trevor and Ryann. He is survived by his loving siblings, Steven Rodgers of Bradford, MA, Donald Rodgers of Jackson, Wyoming, Debbie Hanlon and her husband Dan of Florida, Pamela Kane and her husband Don of Estero, Florida, and Donna Dimaio and her husband Stephen of Georgetown MA. and his brother in-law Larry McMahon of Atkinson NH. He is preceded in death by his brother, James Rodgers of Georgetown, MA and his sister, Diane McMahon of Atkinson, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends who loved him dearly.
Hank served honorably in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972 and attained the rank of E4 as an Artillery Gunner. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War era. Hank’s stories about his life and adventures were loved by all. He lived life to the fullest and really loved to get a room laughing. He loved to go fishing and was an avid New England Sports fan. He enjoyed a day at the beach, soaking up the sun or just a drive along the coast.
 
Due to Covid-19 regulations, a celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date. Condolences can be sent to www.cgfuneralhomegeorgetown.com. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses and ICU staff at Anna Jaques hospital for their efforts and care during his final days. The Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown has been entrusted with Harold's care.
