Harriett Cunningham Obituary

Harriett Rose Cunningham 91, of Gilford, NH died Monday, December 16th, 2024, at Concord Hospital, Concord NH. Harriett was born June 18th, 1933, in Middleton, MA. She married Richard Cunningham on March 1st, 1952, and moved to West Boxford, MA where she lived and raised her family until moving to NH in 2009. A devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great- grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of cooking, baking, sewing, quilting and sense of adventure. Harriett was one of the original emergency communications dispatchers for the Town of Boxford, MA where she worked continually until her retirement in 1988.

Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Richard, of the home, two daughters and their husbands: Debra (Marc) Voigt of Pfafftown, NC and Julie (Bruce) Klinger of Gilford, NH. She leaves two grandchildren: Marcia (Morgan) Hefner of Raleigh, NC and Kyle (Leigh Anna) Voigt of Winston-Salem, NC, and four Great-grandchildren, Mason, Lucy Ann, Gregory and Lynnleigh.

A celebration of life will be set at a later date. The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the compassionate care of Belknap County Nursing Home and the staff at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH.
