Jeffery S. Wittland, 68 of Topsfield, MA, formerly of Wilmington, DE passed away peacefully at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA on March 25, 2024. Jeff was born on December 5th, 1955, in Wilmington, Delaware to late parents Paul J. Wittland Sr. and Doris Jean (Truitt) Wittland.
Jeff was a decorated veteran and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from the US Post Office and fulfilled his love of travel post-retirement through long distance truck driving and teaching at NETTS. Jeff cared deeply for his family and neighbors, often extending himself by quietly and humbly helping others. Spending time with his granddaughters brought him an immense amount of joy, and they lovingly referred to him as "Ziggy".
Jeffery is survived by his wife Tammy Jean (Hannan) Mullin of Topsfield, MA, his daughter Meghan (Mullin) Turmenne and her husband Michael of Georgetown, MA and his daughter Christine Mullin of Peabody, MA. He was the loving grandfather of Lucy and Remy Turmenne and is survived by extended family in both Delaware and Massachusetts.
