John R. Dorman, 62, of Byfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 28th surrounded by his loving family at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. John was born in Ipswich, MA on April 4, 1959 to the late Clarence and Marion (née Crombie) Dorman. John was educated in the Gloucester school system. Later he became a Chef at Lewis’ of Essex and Henry’s Market in Beverly, MA. John’s passions included playing pool, fishing, and bowling which he loved to do with his family.
John is survived by his wife Roberta (née Morgia) of Byfield, MA, son Nathan of Boston, MA, and daughter Marisa of Byfield, MA. He also leaves behind his brother James “Jim” and his wife Nancy of Gloucester, MA and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his siblings, Stephen and Richard Dorman.
Family and friends are kindly invited to John's Funeral Service on Monday morning, November 1st at 11:30 in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow at South Byfield Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be prior to his service from 10 to 11:30.
