With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Joseph Longo, 74, who peacefully left us on Tuesday. He was a devoted husband for 50 years. He took great pride in his woodworking and his career as a machinist.
Joe enjoyed the outdoors, spending time fishing and hunting, enjoying his camp in Maine and he found immense joy in watching his grandchildren grow up.
He is survived by his loving wife, his two children, and their families. He joins in peace his mother, father, and brother.
Though his later years were complicated, Joe will be remembered for the craftsmanship he poured into his woodworking, the joy he found in Maine, lively storytelling and the moments he shared with his family and friends.
We are grateful for the excellent care he received from Care Dimensions and Hospice House of Lincoln. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to Care Dimensions.
The Longo Family will be having services for Joe privately.
