Kathryn E. (Ward) Short

Kathryn E. (Ward) Short, 82, of Byfield passed away peacefully on July 10, 2019 at Masconomet Nursing Home in Topsfield after a long, hard fought battle with Alzheimer’s. Kathryn leaves behind 2 sons, John and his wife Laura of Byfield, Brian and his wife Jodi of Raymond, NH and 3 daughters, Tammy and her husband Richard Corbett of Hampton Falls, NH, Carma and her husband Ed Hudon of Byfield and Jewel Short and her husband Matthew Twiss of Groveland. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John Short and her sister, Carol E Short. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Kathryn was a long-time member of the Gospel Hall of Byfield.

Family and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Service on Saturday, July 13th at 1 O'clock in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow in the South Byfield Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation for Kathryn will be prior to her service from 11 to 1pm in the funeral home.
