Kristen D'Entremont Obituary

Kristen A. (Sarver) D’Entremont of Georgetown, MA, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2025, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with Glioblastoma. She will be remembered for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her. Born in Boston on February 21, 1968, Kristen was adopted by her loving parents, Jack and Dolores Sarver of Saugus, MA. She grew up in Saugus alongside her brothers, forming lifelong friendships and excelling in athletics, especially Track & Field. Her competitive spirit and determination became evident from a very young age.

Kristen earned her degree in Education at Salem State College, later completing Master’s Degrees at Wheelock and Gordon College. For over 25 years, she was known as the beloved “Mrs. D” to countless Danvers students. It was Thorpe School where she met friends who became family, and the Thorpe community will forever hold a place in the hearts of the D’Entremont family. Teaching was her career and her true calling, and she inspired all who knew her.

In 1996, Kristen married the love of her life, Paul D’Entremont. Together they built a beautiful life, raising three daughters—Kyra, Julia, and Lindsey—her greatest pride. She loved cheering them on and guiding them with boundless encouragement and unconditional love. She also cherished her role as “Auntie Kristen,” always ready with advice, laughter, and hugs.
Kristen was always happiest at the beach or paddling in the kayak, soaking in the sunshine she loved. Her spirit was as bright as the summer days she treasured. Kristen enjoyed traveling with her family, with her favorite destinations of Hawaii, Italy, and Ogunquit Beach. She was known for celebrating her friends and family for any occasion, no matter how big or small.

Kristen is survived by her devoted husband Paul, daughters Kyra, Julia, and Lindsey, brother Kurt Sarver and his husband Tom of Beverly, brother Scot Sarver and wife Sarah of North Reading, brother-in-law Bill D’Entremont of Salem, sister-in-law Ann Noyes and her husband Kevin of Middleton, and her adored nieces and nephews: Jessica, Joseph, and Jake Sarver, and Zachary and Benjamin Noyes.

The D’Entremont Family would like to thank “Kristen’s Village”- a devoted group of family and friends who offered unwavering support and care over the last two years. The kindness of “the Villagers” eased this journey and brought comfort to the family. The D’Entremonts also thank those who provided dedicated care to Kristen throughout her illness, including the teams at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Mass General Visiting Nurses, Spaulding Rehabilitation, Care Dimensions Hospice Care, caregiver Sharon, and Nurse Dawn. This group of family and chosen family is a true reflection of Kristen’s love and life.
Though her time with us was too short at 57 years, Kristen’s legacy is one of joy, laughter, and love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are kindly invited to Kristen's visitation on Tuesday afternoon, August 19th from 3 to 8pm in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown and again on Wednesday morning for her Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock to be celebrated at  St. Mary's Parish, Georgetown.
