Laura Jeanne (Meader) Hartman

Laura Jeanne Hartman (Meader) passed into the next phase of life March 3, 2022. Laura was born February 7, 1958 to Nina Meader and Bernard Meader Sr. and was the eldest of seven. Laura dedicated her life to loving and caring for others. She spent her career in the medical field as a registered nurse and case manager providing care, comfort and compassion to patients and their families for nearly 40 years.

Laura's greatest joy in life was sharing love with her family. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her siblings and nieces and nephews, and always had a listening ear and thoughtful guidance. She loved attending the sports games of her nieces and nephews and would often travel great distances to do so. Her comedic timing and wit would often have a room erupting in laughter and her kind demeanor was always a comforting presence. The only thing that may have rivaled her love for her family was her love for the Red Sox, Patriots, and TB12!

She is predeceased by her father, Bernie Sr. She is survived by her mother, Nina, Sister, Linda, Brothers, Kirk, Stan, Bernie, Ryan and plus or minus 30 nieces and nephews by relation and association, her sisters in-law, Colleen and Michelle. She will be greatly missed by all, but most of all by her two best friends Ruth and Patty. The three had an unbreakable bond from childhood to present. The three filled their lives with beautiful moments and fostered each other through life's sorrows. She will also be missed by her colleagues at Mass General Brigham, especially Karen, Kathy, and retired friend Michael with whom she worked for many years and formed beautiful friendships.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday afternoon, March 9th at 3 o'clock in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment in South Byfield Cemetery will be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday prior to her service from 1pm to 3pm.
