Lorna Voigt Obituary

Lorna D. ( DePetrillo ) Voigt, 78, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family. Lorna was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Almerido and Oswalda (Pettine) DePetrillo. She was the beloved wife of Carl T. Voigt, married September 13th, 1964, sharing 56 years of marriage.

Lorna was born and raised in Lawrence, MA where she lived most of her life before moving to Derry, NH 25 years ago where she went on to retire. She loved her time in NH where she enjoyed much time with her grandchildren while apple picking, enjoying apple cider donuts and frequented the local splash pad to watch them play. She had a love for music, sewing and needlepoint in her spare time. She left us all with many memorable pieces we will treasure for years to come. A passion for animals, loved to spend time with her grand dog Daphne. She was an avid player of games on her tablet and word searches while eating her favorite candy, atomic fireballs. In her younger years she worked hard as a hairdresser then went on to work in what became a passion of hers, photography. She retired after many years with Olan Mills. Taking photos of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her a lot of joy. She loved to surprise everyone with photo montages on their birthdays or other special occasions.

Along with her husband, Lorna is survived by her children, Carl Voigt Jr. of Pepperell, Stacey Lowe and husband Bennie Lowe of Pepperell, Erik Voigt and wife Dana Voigt of Uxbridge and Kristen Russell and husband Jason Russell of Pepperell. Lorna is survived by her grandchildren, Anastacia Lowe and husband Brian Seney, Bennie T. Lowe, Colby Goodhue and wife Kendra with great grandchildren, Lylah, Oliver, Everett and Ivy, Krista Russell and great granddaughter Madison. Also Tyler Russell, Zander Voigt and Avianna Voigt. Lorna is also survived by her brother Howard DePetrillo and wife Carol as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
