Marcia Ann (Rego) Lucas

Marcia Ann (Rego) Lucas, 84 of Georgetown and formerly of Hanover, MA, passed away on February 13, 2024, at her home surrounded by the love of her family. Marcia was born in Fall River, MA on August 26, 1939, to the late Manuel and Doris (Berard) Rego. Marcia was a longtime secretary for Montaup Electric in Somerset, MA and most recently a customer service rep. at Simply Whispers in Hanson, MA. During her free time, Marcia loved to travel, especially to Aruba, she enjoyed cooking and was an avid shopper. She had a special love for her cats, mostly Luna.

Marcia was the beloved wife of the late, Richard W. Lucas, Sr. and is survived by their children, Richard W. Lucas, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Zimmerman, MN and Kristen E. Drischler of Georgetown, her grandchildren, Scott and Laura, her greatgrandchildren, Brice, Adrianna and Preston as well as her nieces, Jane Keeler of Haverhill and Julie Rotar of Amesbury. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Deacon Raymond E. Doucette of Merrimac, MA. Marcia was predeceased by her sister, Paulette L. (Rego) Doucette.

Family and friends are kindly invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 17th at 12 Noon in St. Mary’s Parish, 94 Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will be private. Visitation will be on Saturday morning prior to her mass from 9:30 to 11:30 in the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
