Michael A. Walsh

Michael A. Walsh, 82 of Georgetown, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Lawrence General Hospital. Michael was born in Lynn, MA on May 13, 1940 to the late Arthur W. and Alice C. (Broughton) Walsh. Michael was raised and educated in Lynn, graduating with his class from Classical High School. He was a longtime employee with the Town of Georgetown and loved riding his motorcycle, however his greatest passion was being in the company of his family and friends.

Michael was the beloved husband of the late, Ellen J.  (Lucy) Walsh and is survived by their children, Michael Walsh, II, Linda Nuftle, Patricia Doherty and her husband Steve as well as his 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his sister, Jean McDermott and several nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are kindly invited to Michael’s Funeral Mass on Monday morning, March 27th at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Parish, Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.  Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 6 pm at the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
