Mildred Lucy (Bailey) Gangloff

Mildred Lucy (Bailey) Gangloff, 96, of Merrimac and formerly of Georgetown, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2022 at The Country Manor in Newburyport surrounded by the love of her family. Mildred was born in Salem, MA and raised in Marblehead to the late Bertram Saunders and Eva Leona (LeTourneau) Bailey. She was a seamstress for many years at The Georgetown Cleaners as well as an avid stitcher and doll maker. She enjoyed making A, B, C, baby quilts with The Ladies Guild at the Georgetown Congregational Church and was a longtime member of their church choir. Millie loved crafts and flowers and liked to dabble in photography. Mildred loved music and her coupons as well as a good bargain!!

Mildred is survived by her children, Paul W. Pelletier and his partner Maureen Walsh of North Reading and Laura M. Fletcher and her husband Daryl of Center Conway, NH, her grandchildren, Kristen Pelletier and her partner Sean Osgood and Eric Pelletier and her 3 great-grandchildren, Evan, Ronin and Katelyn, her sister, Barbara L. Rogers of Amesbury as well as several nieces and nephews. Mildred was predeceased by her brother, Bertram S. Bailey, Jr.

Family and friends are kindly invited to Mildred’s Funeral Service on Saturday afternoon, February 5th at 1 o’clock in the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
