Nathan Paul Burridge

Nathan Paul Burridge of Haverhill, MA passed away suddenly in his home on 1/18/24. Born in Pittsfield MA, Nathan was raised in Newton NH and Groveland MA. He attended Pentucket Regional Schools, graduating in 1989.  In high school he participated in a German exchange program spending a summer with a family in Neustadt. After graduating he continued his education at University of Lowell and Northern Essex Community College with majors in computer science. He achieved Microsoft Network and Security Engineer certificates from Boston University. During his career, he worked for First Eastern Mortgage, Whitehead Institute,  Messina Technology Solutions,  McGraw-Hill and held several consultant positions including EMC-Dell, NY Presbyterian, Glasshouse Technologies, Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton LLP, Yale New Haven Hospital, Steward Healthcare, and Unitech. 

Nathan enjoyed camping, and fishing with friends. He looked forward to his annual trek to the great lakes to meet up with a College friend to fish.  He was a Grateful Dead and PHISH fan attending their concerts.  An avid reader, he would always have a book in hand and had an extensive library.  He enjoyed a good movie and could make recommendations to family and friends for any genre. 

The last 2 years Nathan battled clear cell renal cancer being treated at Mass General Cancer Center. Despite his illness, Nathan kept his sense of humor and looked forward to time with his family and sharing stories about his 2 cats. 

Nathan is deeply missed by his mother, Diane and father, Carl; his brother Garrett and his wife Elizabeth; niece Noelia Davis of Groveland, nephews Ethan Burridge of West Newbury, Callan and Ashton Burridge of Groveland. He leaves behind Aunt Nancy and Uncle David Condon of Groveland,  Aunt Karen and Uncle Paul Dearborn of Kingston NH, Aunt Laura Crawford of Lacey Washington, cousins and their families and friends. 

A celebration of his life will be scheduled in the spring for family and friends.
