Pamela Roop, 72, of Georgetown, died peacefully at home surrounded by love on December 31st.
A very private person. Those who knew her valued her friendship. She was a good listener and made people feel good about themselves.
She grew up in Chatham, Mass. and is survived by her son, Stephen Dalton, her brother, Paul Speight, sister, Patricia Schmidt and her husband, Chris Roop.
She was an avid reader of varied and diverse subjects with a keen intellect. She supported numerous causes, such as environmental justice, Native American rights and was devoted to animal welfare.
Donations can be made in her name to the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society in Salisbury.
