Patricia Skeirik Obituary

It is with gratitude for her life of 90 years that the family of Patricia Drummey Skeirik announces her death in North Andover, Massachusetts on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Patricia was born on September 10, 1932, in Beverly, Massachusetts to Margaret Drummey (Sheehan) and Michael Drummey. Eldest sister to Geraldine Belanger, Michael Drummey, Janet Cahill and Sally Bryan. Patricia spent her childhood in North Andover, Massachusetts and attended North Andover High School, graduating in 1950. She also attended the Lowell Teachers College.
Pat became a loving and supportive wife to Lewis Skeirik DMD, when they married in 1950. In 1958, Patricia and Lewis moved to Georgetown, Massachusetts, where Patricia lived for the next 64 years. Pat deeply valued friendship and had a wealth of lifelong friends. Among her most treasured relationships was her friendship with her three sisters. She was an avid and prolific reader and an accomplished cook (especially Arabic food.) For many years, she gave back to her community as a volunteer and President of the Board of Trustees at the Georgetown Peabody Library. Pat's most treasured pastime, however, was spending time with her family at Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport, Maine.

She leaves behind her three children, Marcia S. Braganca, Peter L. Skeirik, and Lynne P. Skeirik, and their three respective spouses, Joseph Braganca, Pamela Crowe-Skeirik, and James Patnode, and her son-in-law Brian N. Roberts. She leaves four grandchildren, Beth Braganca Bell, Sara Braganca, Daniel Skeirik and Calvin Skeirik, and four great-grandchildren, Norah and Sadie Bell and Andrew and Caroline Skeirik. She was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy S. Roberts.

Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 94 Andover Street, Georgetown, on Saturday morning February 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
