Rachel R. (Rogers) Dodge

Rachel R. Dodge was born on August 18, 1931 in Newbury, MA to Arthur S. and Olive M. Rogers.  She passed away peacefully on July 30, 2020 at the age of 88 at the Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport, MA surrounded by her loving family.  Rachel was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John N. Dodge, and her beloved sons John N. Dodge Jr. and Jeffrey M. Dodge.  She leaves behind her sons Jerrold A. Dodge of Chesterville, ME, James A. Dodge of Jay, ME, Jay L. Dodge and his wife Cheryl of Byfield, MA and her daughters Judith A. Blanchette and her husband George of Londonderry, NH, Jean M. Gatchell and her husband John of Jay, ME, Jill Glander-Wheat and her husband James of Hopkinton, NH.  She also leaves behind 21 loving grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Rachel’s priorities in life were her family and her many friends and she devoted her life to all.  She will be truly missed by each and every one. 
The family would like to thank the Port Healthcare Center and Harborside Hospice for their loving care and attention to Rachel during her stay.  We are very grateful.
