Randall Moormann Obituary

Randall “Randy” Hal Moormann, 74 of Georgetown, Ma., son of the late Helmuth & Ruth (Yopp) Moormann of Elmont, NY and late sister Karlene of Ocala, FL., ascended into heaven peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 14th, 2023.  He was surrounded by his loving wife and children as he began his journey with God and Christ to watch over them free from pain.

Randy was known for his brilliance and gifted talent as a mechanical engineer, patent creator, devout Christian and teacher of the Lord.  His love of Christ included his time spent at St. James Groveland and his recent fellowship and love of New Life Community Church.  While loved and admired for his success, Randy truly loved nothing more than fulfilling his role on earth as a husband and best friend to his wife, as well as a father, uncle, grandfather, and great-grandfather.   His love for his wife was that which many aspire to. Their love set an example for their children on how loving, supportive, and connected we as people are capable of being.

Randy is survived by his wife, Regina Rose Moormann just shy of their 50th wedding anniversary, his two sons, Danial Hal Moormann and his wife Megan of Marblehead, Ma., Nicholas Hal Moormann and his wife Rachael of Rockland, Ma., and his daughter, Paije Elizabeth Moormann of Haverhill, Ma.; six grandchildren, Tyler, Tristan, Leo, Samson, Nathaniel, and Alexander as well as great-granddaughter Nylah; his niece and nephews, many of whom viewed him as a father figure, Alissa, Nickolas, Christopher, Brooke, Christa Lee, Sara Mae, Thomas and Jeremiah.

Randy’s Celebration of Life Service will take place at 1.00 pm on Saturday May 20th at the New Life Community Church in Georgetown, Ma. His interment will follow in Boxford Village Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Joni and Friends are welcomed at joniandfriends.org.
