Rita E. (Davis) West

Rita E. (Davis) West, 83, of Byfield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, December 15, 2021 at the High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill. Rita was born in Byfield to the late, Gilbert and Rhoda (Woodman) Davis. Rita was the beloved wife of the late, Robert K. West. She loved to cook and was an avid collector of antiques, however her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Rita was a trustee of the Byfield Cemetery Committee and a longtime member of The Loyal Order of Moose.

Rita was a kind and caring person who will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

Rita is survived by her children, Michael West of Haverhill, Russell West of Byfield, Gail Grina of Haverhill and Jody West of Amesbury as well as her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers, Orin Davis of Rochester, NH, Fred Davis of Byfield, Richard Davis of Byfield and Russell Davis of West Newbury.

Rita was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie and her siblings, Anita, Mary, Everett and Gilbert.

Family and friends are kindly invited to her visitation on Thursday, December 23rd from 3pm to 7pm at Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Service and interment at Harmony Cemetery will be private.
