Robert W. McMahon, 61, of Georgetown, MA, passed away on November 13, 2019. Bob was born in Beverly, MA on May 4th, 1958 to the late Robert J. McMahon and Marjorie (Larabee) McMahon. Growing up, he enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee and playing hockey and karate. He graduated from Beverly High School in 1976 and went on to join the Air Force for the next 4 years. One of Bob’s greatest loves was music, and he opened a record store called Record Rack with his brother Mike after leaving the Air Force. He went on to get his Bachelor’s degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology and became a software engineer. He spent most of his career working at Cisco Systems and Capsule Tech. After marrying the love of his life, the late Brenda (Morrissey) McMahon, they settled in Georgetown where they raised their two children, Sam and Jenna. He is remembered by his family for his love of music, sports, hiking, family vacations and his sense of humor.
Bob is predeceased by his wife Brenda, his brother, Michael McMahon, and his brother-in-law, Jack Morrissey. He is survived by his children, Samuel McMahon of Georgetown and Jenna McMahon of Tewksbury, his sister, Diane Pantig and her husband Dennis Pantig of East Providence, RI, his sister, Susan Feilteau and her husband Mark Feilteau of Foxboro, his niece, Crystal Collins of Portsmouth, RI, his nephew, Jason Pantig of Bristol, RI and his sister-in-law, Janet Morrissey of Rowley.
Family and friends are kindly invited to his visitation on Saturday, January 11th from 10 to Noon at the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown, followed by his Graveside Service at the Main Street Cemetery, Rowley at 12:30pm.
