Robyn Evelyn (Weber) Blum

Robyn Evelyn Blum, 51, of Georgetown Massachusetts passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday March 1st, 2025.   
Born in Lawrence, MA, Robyn spent her life in devotion to her family, friends, students, and faith.  Robyn proudly homeschooled her four children through their early years, building strong foundations for academic success as well as realizing her own passion for teaching.  She was a Director of Religious Education at St. Mary's Parish in Georgetown, where she passed on the Catholic faith with her revitalized, engaging curriculum.  Robyn served 17 years as a girl scout leader to two troops.  She earned her Bachelor's of History at American University and later earned her Master's of Education at Gordon College. After attaining her Master's degree Robyn continued her commitment to education by teaching History at Lawrence High school and enjoyed teaching the comprehensive stories of history and impacting the lives of her students with life lessons beyond the required curriculum. 

Robyn's other passions included quilting, sewing, reading, camping, and travel.  Robyn loved the peace and order found in quilting and sewing, even when she had to let go of the little mistakes along the way. Robyn was fortunate to experience few side effects for the majority of her illness which allowed her to spend much quality time with friends and family members in her final months.  Her friends and family have many quilts, dresses, table runners, and more to remember her by.  Robyn spent many a day laughing, crying, and sharing stories with her closest friends.  Everyone who met Robyn appreciated the kindness, honesty, integrity, and humor shining from her.  She was a wonderful friend and role model to those around her.

Robyn is survived by her husband of 28 years Lawrence Blum, and her four children Ekaterina, Edward, Ana-Meeka "Oak", Scarlett "Zane", and her brother Michael Weber.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Robyn's visitation on Thursday, March 6th from 4 to 8pm in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10:30 am in the Sacred Heart Parish Church, Bradford. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown.
