Rosemary D. (Perry) Marathas

Rosemary D. Marathas, 82, passed away peacefully at Brigham Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Newburyport, Ma.  She was the daughter of the late Francis V. Perry, Sr. and Rose (Morrison) Perry, and the sister of her late brother Francis V. Perry, Jr.
Rosemary was born on February 11, 1940 in Boston.  Rosemary worked for many years at Baldpate Hospital in Georgetown, MA as a housekeeper.  In her spare time, she loved to bake, crochet and enjoyed sewing and crafting.
She was married to her husband, Perry J. Marathas, Sr., (deceased) for over 52 years and was devoted very much to her family.

Rosemary is survived by her children Paula J. Lord and her husband Steve of Stratham, NH and Perry J. Marathas, Jr. of Groveland, MA, Pamela Marathas Connell of Marshfield, MA; her grandchildren Michael Lord and Alex Lord of Stratham, NH and Arielle Wagonner and her husband Robert of Louisiana; as well as her beloved border collie “Lucy”.  She is also survived by her sister Patricia Uzzo and her husband Joseph of Plymouth, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, April 23rd at 1 o'clock in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery, Georgetown. Visitation will be prior to her service from 11 to 1pm.
