Rosemary (Delpero) Morse

Rosemary Morse was born June 27, 1934 in Salem, MA to the late Ernest and Mary (Plecinoga) Delpero. She passed away peacefully on June 5th at the age of 85 at her home on Georgetown, MA surrounded by her loving family. Rosemary was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Clifton Leo Morse, and her beloved son Thomas Michael Morse. She leaves behind her sons Gregory Morse of Groveland, MA and his wife Diane and Steven Morse of West Dennis, MA and his wife Aurora and her daughters Linda Pimenta of Lexington, KY, Patricia Tortolini of Londonderry , NH and her husband Peter, and Rachelle Zani of Barrrington, RI. She also leaves behind 19 loving grandchildren and 10 beautiful great grandchildren. Rosemary was pre-deceased by her sister Barbara and leaves behind her brother Ernie and sister Theresa as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rosemary had a long and successful career retiring from Salem 5 Cents Savings Bank. Her priorities in life were her family, faith and friends and she devoted her life to all. She will be truly missed by each and every one. Her service to her church included acting as a Eucharistic Minister in which role she served the faithful in her parish, in hospitals and in correctional facilities. It gave her tremendous satisfaction to help bring the comfort of faith to those in need. She was a long-time volunteer at St Basil’s in Methuen as well as belonging to the choir and women’s club (the God Squad) at St Mary’s in Georgetown. Rosemary’s hobbies which she shared with many friends included travelling, painting and gardening.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 11th at 11 O'clock at St. Mary's Parish, 94 Andover Street, Georgetown. Interment will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7pm in the Conte - Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
