Sara (Hartman) Bean

Sara (Hartman) Bean, 90 of Andover and formerly of Georgetown, passed away on September 20, 2024, at Lawrence General Hospital. Sara was born on July 7, 1934, to the late John V. and Wilhelmina (Holloway) Hartman. Sara graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Mt. Holyoke College and a Master's Degree from Northeastern. She was primarily a Teacher’s Aide for over 25 years in the Andover School System. During her spare time, she enjoyed collecting and selling children’s books and post cards.

Sara was the beloved wife of the late Curtis H. Bean and is survived by her brother, John A. Hartman of Georgetown and her two nephews, John G. Hall of FL and Michael R. Hall of MA. Sara was predeceased by her son, David E. Bean, her sisters, Susan Hall and Mary E. Hartman.

Family and friends are kindly invited to her Graveside Service on Saturday morning, September 28th at 10 o’clock at Harmony Cemetery, Central Street, Georgetown. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 to 7pm in the Conte – Giamberardino Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown.
